Principal SOC Analyst (Security SIEM Log Rhythm ISO27001 CISSP). Exciting opportunity for a talented Principal SOC Analyst to help build out and lead a brand new security team within a hugely successful company. You'll play a key role in the day to day activity of the Security Operations Centre; training and mentoring the analysts and influencing the SOC on an operational, technical and strategic level.

Global provider of data protection solutions is seeking a Principal SOC Analyst to lead their SOC team. Your main responsibilities will include; managing the security improvements process along with incident management and implementation of security standards, coordinating or participating in individual and team projects, assisting in the generation of new signatures / rules and assisting in the definition of analysis procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

*Must hold SC Clearance for this role

*Full understanding of SIEM systems (IBM QRadar, Log Rhythm, Alien Vault)

*Experience with IT security management, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

*Previous experience of risk assessment, privacy and compliance

*Understanding of security best practices (including ISO27001)

*Ideally you'll have a security certification (CISSP, GIAH, GIAC)

*Previous leadership experience

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
