Digital Marketing Intern - Spanish Market

Client is a national tourism agency, a non departmental public body, funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, responsible for promoting Britain worldwide and developing its visitor economy.

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Intern (Italian Market) to join their Europe division on a 12 month placement. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to gain valuable experience in the digital marketing field.

Responsibilities:

Support the Spanish market on consumer facing marketing activities.

Social Media:

o Community moderation and engagement following guidelines

o Creation and curation of content and suggest ideas for new engaging content

o Schedule content for Facebook and Instagram using the right tools

Content:

o Proof read translated content

o Localise copy for digital channels and campaigns

o Edit and write well-crafted web copy to agreed online style guidelines

Website:

o Edit and optimise webpages of the Spanish consumer website

o Report bugs and issues to the central content team

Reporting:

o Creating regular reports on monthly and ad hoc basis on agreed KPIs for digital channels

Business Support:

o Assist the Digital Manager as required on ad hoc B2C business activities

Person Requirements

Education/Qualifications:

* Open to recent graduates

* Open to Marketing or related degree disciplines

Characteristics:

Spanish language native speaker and fluent in written and spoken English

Good knowledge of the Spanish market and culture

Possess engaging "conversational" writing skills with an excellent eye for detail

Proofreading and editing skills and ability to create, produce and edit written materials

Good knowledge of social media channels, especially Facebook and Instagram

Good knowledge of Excel

Desirable:

Experience with CMS tools (Drupal or similar)

Experience with HTML code

Experience with content SEO

Experience with eCRM tools

Experience writing content for an organisation or blog (online or offline)

Experience creating content on social media channels for an organisation

Knowledge of social media management tools

Good knowledge of Google Analytics and other analytics tools

Good knowledge of Britain as a tourism destination
