1st and 2nd Line Support Analyst

£170 - £1890 a day

My client is a market leading is a market leading investment management company who has offices in over 20 locations worldwide. They are looking for an experienced 1st and 2nd Line Support Analyst.

This is a 1st/2nd line support where you will be supporting both onsite infrastructure and overseas branches (all in all support of around a 100).

Your Responsibilities:

* Respond to problems and queries experienced by staff.

* Monitor the Helpdesk system (respond within agreed SLAs).

* Qualify support requests, ensure adequate information is collected and resolve or assign to appropriate technical resource.

* Prepare management reports regarding performance of the Help Desk.

* Setup and deploy desktop PCs, including physical and virtual, and associated equipment.

* Assist IT technical staff in the deployment, removal and troubleshooting of IT systems.

* Assist and train staff in the use of desktop software and IT systems.

* Maintain Helpdesk records and system inventories (Asset Control).

* Lotus Notes client administration support.

* Support the IP Telephony System.

Your Skills:

* Experience in an IT support function.

* Experience working towards SLAs.

* Active Directory experience.

* End to end issue resolution.

* Working knowledge of Windows 7/10 and MS Office.

* Excellent written communication skills (user and technical documentation).

* Excellent verbal communication skills (telephone queries, escalation matters).

* Ability to use own initiative prioritise tasks.
