Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and with matrix responsibilities to country specific Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), this is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and creative expert in product marketing to join our leadership team as our Group Marketing Director.

The role
You will lead and drive operational and strategic based marketing activity within the group and our subsidiaries across the UK and EMEA.
As a part of our leadership team, you will share accountability for achieving business targets and objectives, in accordance with agreed company goals.

Key responsibilities:
 Developing our company's image, brand, product marketing and its standing within the market placeDesigning and implementing innovative, comprehensive company, sales and product marketing strategies / campaigns to meet the business strategyCollaborating closely with the CCO, Sales and Product Directors to devise and develop innovative product marketing plans, compelling sales initiatives and customer insights, in line with our business growth strategyEnsuring the alignment of marketing investment with product roadmaps and sales strategies into the company annual marketing business planDefining and introducing Product Marketing P/L, growing ROI across our product portfolio and customer segmentsWorking closely with stakeholders to ensure all teams are adequately trained and educated on all campaigns with correct messaging and customer valuesManaging a portfolio of key suppliers supporting the marketing function including brand design, PR, events management, website and social mediaCoordinating and managing an annual schedule of marketing campaigns, key conferences and events with product releasesDeveloping a clear view into our customers, markets and partners to devise compelling messaging and marketing campaignsLeading our marketing department and providing guidance and feedback to your teamProducing ideas for promotional events or activities and organising them efficientlyPlanning and executing campaigns for corporate promotion and launching new product linesRaising awareness and company baseline knowledge in product marketing best practiceMonitoring progress and submitting performance reportsProducing valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design and organising the company's publicationsConducting general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitors' marketing movementsControlling budgets, allocating resources amongst projects, monitoring and growing ROI 
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
 Proven track record of success in a senior marketing leadership position within a product marketing environmentConfident, driven and dynamic leaderEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunitiesProven expertise in selecting and managing key partners and service providers, and able to demonstrate effective ROI, contractual negotiations and monitor performanceUnderstanding customer needsExcellent communication skills to deal with the many different stakeholders across the companyAble to quickly establish strong and successful working relationshipsGood understanding of marketing, sales and product management issues with strong commercial acumenMust able to use your initiativeOutstanding organisational skillsThe ability to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met 
Education and experience :
 Successful and proven track record in running a marketing function for a technology vendorStrong background and knowledge in product marketing, collaborating closely with commercial and product development teamsExcellent understanding of digital, social media, and traditional marketing activitiesExpertise in the development and delivery of compelling marketing strategies, plans and projectsExtensive experience in engaging with customers and target markets in the UK and EMEAExcellent commercial acumen and able to manage complex marketing budgetsExperience in raising the calibre and capability of a marketing function and teamEffective relationship management at middle/senior management levelStrong influencing and coaching abilitiesAble to develop, implement and manage relevant projects to completionBachelors or Master's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience Professional Chartered Marketer (CIM) or equivalent experience Fluency in second language such as French and German would be advantageousAny experience with healthcare sector is highly desirableWhy join CliniSys:

Depending on the experience of the candidate's skills and expertise, CliniSys offers a £competitive basic salary plus a generous package and great work environment.
 
The role well be based at our group HQ in Chertsey with some home working; you will also be required to travel across the UK and Europe to attend our other offices, company events and client commitments as and when required.
