A well-established designer and manufacturer of bespoke equipment for the commercial sector requires a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Design team at their High Wycombe site. As the leaders in their field they are known for their high-quality equipment and strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Authorities and Responsibilities: General Engineering To produce 2D sales drawings for issue to customers To produce 2D parts & assembly drawings for 'in house' use To update existing and products in 3D model To support the company product improvement processProcessing and design Creation of information packs for issue to shop floor Liaison with sales relating to allocation process, including clarification of sales information provided, special requirements, special wiring requirements and delivery availabilityLiaison with shop floor and support during all stages of fabrication and assembly 3D Engineering To produce 3D parts & assembly drawings for 'in house' use To build a 3D library of 'in-house' and 'bought in' components Visualisation of concept designs and customer driven specials To produce photo-realistic images for web & printed marketing media Product Development Update & improve design, fabrication & assembly of existing productsRationalisation of design to minimise components usedTo research new methods of construction and implement where practicalTo keep up to date with competitors product designs & stylingTo develop new products from initial design brief, through prototype stages to finished production unit.To understand technical aspects of component placement, performance and usage best practice. They are offering a salary package up to £45,000 DOE and are looking to interview as early as next week. They are open to both Junior and Senior levels.
