Contract Test Consultant up to £300p/d

Our client, a small but expanding software house; have asked us to assist in the hire of an experienced Test Consultant. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a friendly, and highly technical IT team where you can have a real impact.

We are seeking experienced testers to understand and test customer and user needs in current projects. The successful tester will test features and designs and to test software accurately against customer needs. You will also be able to test the usability with internal users.

Key skills sought:

*Demonstrable Testing experience in software projects

* Experience of Rapid Software Testing / Context-driven testing ideal

*Chartered exploratory testing

*Usability testing

Ideally, we are also looking for the following exposure:

*Commercially minded and an understanding of the business needs of customers and users

*Exposure to a risk-based approach to testing and use of heuristics and oracles

*Testing throughout the development lifecycle

*Commercial software testing exposure
