Function Description The provision of advice, assistance, and leadership in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance or effective use of information systems and their environments. The type of consultancy can deal with one specific aspect of IS, or it can be wide ranging and address many aspects, or it can be of a strategic nature. Previous Experience 5 years relevant post qualification experience in IT and Business Modelling. Preferably have significant experience in the Oil and Gas industry and successful line management experience. Prior Knowledge and Skills Demonstrates high standards of professional behavior in dealings with clients, colleagues and staff. Demonstrates the ability to take significant responsibility and shows skill in the management of change. Has gained a reputation, possibly within a professional arena or industry sector, for competence and stature within own area of expertise. Possesses a thorough and wide knowledge and experience of business and commercial practice in the sectors in which work is undertaken. Mandatory Tasks Carries out assignments, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills, and experience. Demonstrates an understanding of the issues of interest to the client organisation and proposes viable solutions within the scope of own expertise, taking into account the needs of those affected. Recognizes needs outside own area of knowledge, recognizes how these areas relate, calls for and works effectively with additional expertise as necessary. Plans and organises own work accurately. Undertakes assignments in a systematic manner. Produces high quality deliverables in terms of both content and presentation. Examples of deliverables include: reports, presentations and reasoned arguments. Maintains detailed knowledge of current practice within own area of expertise. Is aware of current developments within own area of expertise. Seeks awareness, and in some cases detailed knowledge, of areas outside own area of expertise as appropriate. Optional Tasks Contributes effectively to identifying and securing further business opportunities for the consulting practice or organisation.

Job Description

The Organization is replacing their existing Records Management system with 0365 features. The current system is due to be decommissioned end of 2019. The new features O365 will enable the organizaiton's employees to manage their records and information more effectively across various platforms. "

PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Purpose

To drive and support the business change activities required to underpin the organization's IT simplification agenda. The organization is focused on aligning and simplifying IT systems to increase customer satisfaction and business value which will drive significant and ongoing change in all parts of the business, supporting the business' growth agenda. The role is delivery focused and will lead IT-driven business change in a programme or project environment.

The primary purpose of the role is to

  • Work on one change programme, with oversight or management from a Transformational Change Manager
  • Deploy measurable change management interventions and wider transformational change initiatives
  • Operate, with support where needed across change management, communications

Accountabilities

  • Work on projects to:
    • Execute the change management plan
    • Build and manage change management deliverables and activities to a business-ready standard
    • Ensure that the appropriate change management tools and methods are applied to IT projects project environment.
