Are you a proactive individual who enjoys supporting overall strategy as well as detailed data solutions, if so this could be the right role for you? If you have the right attitude and experience, we're looking for a Data Quality & Metadata Assistant Manager. Data management experience would be an advantage but is not critical. You'll be part of a small team dedicated to supporting the Data Quality & Metadata Senior Manager. The team has accountabilities for Data Management across Group Transformation and you'll provide support to ensure effective rules and controls are in place around our data to protect customers, colleagues and shareholders.

The Data team within Group Transformation is essential to the success of this by keeping data at the centre of the solutions we deliver.
What will you be accountable for?
Assist the Data Quality & Metadata Manager to support application owners to deliver and maintain data quality and metadata to group policy and regulatory requirements
Provide support on the Group's data quality and metadata tools
Support business units with the resolution of data quality issues within the division
You will support the maintenance of data management related risk and associated action plans and escalate these as necessary, including breaches in Policy or deviation from standards
Support Value Streams and projects to ensure appropriate Data Quality and metadata delivery as part of their requirements
Produce reports on divisional progress via dashboards and input into governance committees
What experience will you need?
Be naturally good with people and a real team player, also able to work on your own initiative and prioritise deliverables
Have experience in managing relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
Be able to work collaboratively
Good understanding, or a desire to understand, the benefits of effective data management, of how data is used in the business and the most critical types of data
Appetite to understand data management at both a practical and policy level
Demonstrate core LBG values and behaviours.
