The Role...

The expectations placed on this role will be met by an experienced developer who is capable of leading and delivering Advanced Digital Workplace (ADW) projects using a range of Microsoft tools, including; Power Apps, Forms, Flow, Office, SharePoint, and Teams. The candidate should have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful business process solutions.

Working as part of an established team, the role holder will be expected to deliver business solutions that encompass the full project lifecycle including; the capturing of user requirements, business process analysis, translating requirements into user-friendly solutions, user testing and the handover of solutions to customer teams. The role holder will also be expected to deliver support work to customers and internal staff.

Working as part of an established team, the role holder will be expected to:

Delivery of pre-sales proof of concepts, and post sales implementations incorporating full project lifecycle

Capturing user requirements in a structured form to effectively support the development and planning phases

Carry out detailed business process analysis, and in some cases establish an understanding of highly complex workflows

Develop standards and approaches to forms and workflows to help facilitate effective, consistent solution delivery

Carry out business process mapping exercises and make recommendations where relevant to provide insights and optimisations

Develop forms and applications to capture/present data in a user-friendly manner, compatible across desktop and mobile as required

Develop workflows to facilitate data capture, data processing, approvals, and other process automation activities

Perform testing, and document various elements of the implementation as required

Facilitate solution handovers that will also promote internally defined best practice within the customer organisation

Skills Required...

Essential

A proven track record of developing successful digital workplace solutions incorporating data capture and workflow

Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills

Experience developing and working with electronic forms and workflow

Microsoft Power Platform development skills including;

PowerApps

Microsoft Forms

Microsoft Flow

Desirable

InfoPath

Lotus Notes

Visio

Microsoft Sharepoint

Microsoft Team

Travel...

Travel to customer sites will be expected within the U.K. Typically this is 1-2days every other week, with the occasional need to stay overnight. However, the amount of travel is dictated by the individual project and customer.

Candidates must have a right to work in the United Kingdom.
