Role Purpose
The role of the IT Communications, Marketing and Engagement Specialist is to work within our clients project and internal communications teams to create/input in to the engagement and communications strategies to support global and regional IT transformation initiatives.
This role is multifaceted and will involve the creation of plans and processes, the execution of regional plans, scoping and development of messaging and collateral and stakeholder management.
Requirements
Working in conjunction with the Customers Project and Communication teams to agree and document the business engagement and communications strategies, plans and processes.Manage and oversee the development and delivery of business engagement and communication products against the Business Engagement and Communications Plan within predefined timeframes.Work with the Customer Project Managers and Communications team to agree and develop workstream deliverables and collateral, managing and obtaining reviews and sign-offManage the delivery of structured communications e.g. Programme awareness sessions, road shows, workshopsStakeholder Management, build strong relationships and productive network that spans business and programme teamsAgree a communications and engagement schedule with the businessManage change control and risksWork with any key business personnel, to ensure that the project is meeting the needs of the businessAttendance at internal weekly checkpoint meetings - creation of weekly Highlight ReportsAttendance and input in to project Go/No-go meetings and ownership of follow on actionsTracking and reporting of workstream activitiesEscalate risks, time delays and issues though an approved reporting structure
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
Excellent verbal, written and communications skillsCompetent in creating PPT decks and presentingProven ability at managing and building relationships with key stakeholdersStrong organisational and planning skills with a solid attention to detailCommercial knowledge across a range of communication disciplines in corporate environmentsPrevious knowledge of End User Transformation projectsPrevious knowledge of working within both global and regional workstreams with an understanding of cultural nuancesKnowledge of designing and delivering end user communicationsITIL (desirable)PRINCE2 (desirable)
