Role: Technical Solution Architect (Infra & Salesforce)

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 3 Months + extension

Job purpose & responsibilitiesAnalyse project scoping statement, project requirements to help define a complete end to end solution, utilising capabilities available across BUK or in the wider market placeIdentify and develop innovative solution that will enhance the client experience and provide a cost effective solution for BUKFull & Partial Concept solutions/Architecture VisionsBreadth and depth of financial services business and applications knowledgeDemonstrates expert ability to influence at all levels of the organisation, including multiple architecture panels;Experienced in acting as the design authority for an area of technology or programme

Essential SkillsExperience in complex systems integration projects/programmes is a pre-requisiteAble to exhibit deep technical leadership throughout the project life cycleExperience in architecting end to end solutions including application/infrastructure integrationAble to demonstrate previous evidence of drive, energy, commitment, and enthusiasm

Desirable SkillsSalesforce knowledgeThe candidate ideally will have experience in banking applications and infrastructure, with an understanding of service managementSolution architect and enterprise architect training and certification, e.g. TOGAF, is desirable.Exposure to SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) design principles, service definition and web services implementation including exposure of API components to external consumersCompetence in the execution of substantial IT delivery programmes from inception through to a successful result.
