C# BACKEND DEVELOPER£30.00 - £50.00 per hrLeicester24 months We are seeking a C# Backend Developer who will be involved in designing and implementing server-based applications for airport software solutions using Microsoft® technologies with Oracle® as the back-end database. At least 5 years' experience in designing and coding server based applications using visual studio with .Net framework 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. Confidently write, test and debug critical code.Experience of writing server based code that interfaces to relational databases such as Oracle and SQL server with at least 5 years of SQL query experienceExperience in writing communications interfaces to external systems using protocols such as TCP/IP Sockets, Siemens S5/S7, Modicon Modbus plus on a Windows server environment using C#, .Net and associated drivers.Experience in working on mission critical Microsoft server based applications where high availability is of paramount importance (Server-side code for front-end development is not applicable for this requirement)Experience of writing thread safe code in multi-tasking environments with an understanding of asynchronous event processing PC Literacy particularly the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePointExtensive knowledge of Airline/Handler baggage operational processesExtensive knowledge of cross Heathrow baggage operations and maintenance processes and procedures For further information on this vacancy, please contact Stephen Slade on 0161 924 3959.
