Application Developer / C# .Net Developer/ Software Developer - West Malling - Salary up to £40kpa

Spring Technology is currently seeking an Application Developer, for a global insurance company to help design, create, test and document new and amended software programs.

Your role:

*Your focus is to provision and maintain our internal development capabilities for all bespoke business applications, data systems and digital technologies.

*Any solution needs to include compatibility with enterprise and solution architectures, and the alignment to corporate standards within constraints of cost, security and sustainability.

*Design, code, test, correct and document large or complex software programs. Your aim is to achieve a well-engineered result. You take technical responsibility for all stages in the software development process.

*Provide advice and assistance to less expert colleagues as required.

*You work with Application Support Analysts to Investigate, establish root cause and remediate operational incidents. Investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities; then contribute to the recommendation of improvements.

Some of tech you will be using:

*Technical application development skills in these frameworks, languages, patterns and tools: NET 4.5, .NET Core 2.2, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular JS, Angular 2+, MVC 3+, Web Api 2, HTTP, REST and RESTful Services, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, SQL Server 2014-2016, T-SQL, Visual Studio 2015-2017, IOC, DI, CI, IIS 8, TFS, Windows Server 2012-2016

*Knowledge of unit testing frameworks for both server-side (e.g. NUnit or Visual Studio) and client-side (e.g. Jasmine).

*Familiarity with the full software creation process and different software development models (Agile / Scrum / Kanban a nice to have).

*Effective Communication, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.

*Being ambitious, tenacious and self-motivated - you love to achieve and feel that you've made a difference.

*Having the ability to lead research and triage of complex technical problems. You're diplomatic and have a willingness to engage with others, you listen and adopt views and ideas from a wide-range of sources.

*Being highly adept at comprehending, analysing & interpreting data and salient information. In your challenging role, you'll adapt to working under stress and in challenging environments.

*Having high attention to detail and loving to be accurate. You strive to deliver information with integrity and sensitivity.
