Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50000 per annum
Were looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, working on and leading the DevOps for our own products and platforms. Weve developed the platform from the ground up in the last 18 months.
The core solution is based around RabbitMQ, with .NET WCF and Web APIs with RethinkDB, MongoDB, and MySQL databases, with a responsive and adaptive web frontend built on React hosted on Node.js and a CMS based on Ruby on Rails so were looking for someone with good experience using most of these technologies.
You must be keen on keeping up-to-date with new technologies, techniques and processes, and identify where these could lead to improvements for your role.
We are an award-winning digital agency based in Manchester that specialises in the gambling sector. We design and build websites, web and native apps as well as end-to-end betting and gaming platforms, but most of our growth in the last 12 months has been around our product team - building a gambling platform fit for the enterprise market.
Who were looking for...
o Strong knowledge of Linux (CentOS)
o Knowledge of Windows Server and hosting .NET WCF and WebAPI services
o Configuration management (Ansible/Terraform)
o Experience with AWS and VMWare management and automation
o Experience with container solution using Docker, swarm and Kubernetes
o Building and scaling monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Splunk, prometheus)
o Continuous integration and source code management (Jenkins, Git)
o Bash and scripting languages
o Powershell is a nice to have
o Be an expert problem solver
o An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
o Someone who is adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
o Enjoys keeping up to date with advances in technologies and how they can be applied to projects
o Hardworking and willing to go above and beyond to learn new skills
o Love working as part of a team and collaborating with others
