Technical Architect

Spring Technology are working with a leading organisation in Leeds to recruit for a Technical Architect to join the clients highly successful technical team.

The Role

As a Technical Architect you will be providing specialist expertise and resources to facilitate and execute technical planning, design, specification, development and implementation across a wide range of application architectures. Technology areas include web application design, middleware, SQL server and enterprise domains. As well as this you will also be working on Application security, systems software, desktop and mobile platforms and content management systems.

The Responsibilities

*Leading a team of technical experts accountable to for the specification and information systems and their components to meet the defined business needs.

*Facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of application infrastructure technology.

*Investigation, analysis and exploitation of new and emerging technologies.

*Working with Solution Architects, commissioning function and other stakeholders to utilise existing solutions.

*Advise the business stakeholders on technology design options and choices.

*Develop and maintain technical frameworks, roadmaps, policies and standards aligned to IT Strategies.

*Service development lifecycle and embedding good practice in both technical and non-technical settings.

The Requirements

*Development of system level platform frameworks & roadmaps.

*The use of web application design using patterns such as MVC and Content management systems.

*Extensive Specification, Design and delivery of enterprise scale detailed level solution designs

*Use of Middleware / Integration / API Management (such as BizTalk ESB).

*Experience with Researching and identification of current IT best practice.

*SQL Server reporting, analysis and integration systems.

*Delivery of digital and technology standard, guidelines and design configuration.

*Strong interpersonal skills as you will be talking to different technical and non technical stakeholders.
