Solution Architect

Spring Technology are working with a leading organisation in Leeds to recruit for a Solution Architect to join the clients highly successful technical team.

The Role

As a Solution Architect you will be developing and maintaining domain architecture this could be; technology, applications, information or business and will be aligned to the business direction of the client. You will also interpret business requirements, identify solutions and corresponding high level designs. You will also be required to evaluate and align proposals from potential suppliers and partners and contribute to ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of agreed options.

The Responsibilities

*Develop, review, interpret and respond to business requirement specifications to ensure alignment between the customer and clients expectations.

*Working with a range of stakeholders to develop and interpret business requirements.

*Define and design technology solutions to assist the client in meeting business objectives.

*Contribute to the specification and evaluation of supplier proposals on procurements.

*Recognise and use opportunities for innovation and change from business processes to technology.

*Working with service development and operational departments to deliver solutions and service designs.

*Provide overall assurance on programme and project delivery to ensure that solutions are implemented.

The Requirements

*Experience within a similar job role.

*Experience with using Microsoft technologies, Azure Technologies, Cisco Networking and McAfee Security products.

*Familiarity with business and technology strategy, and digital strategy frameworks, techniques and execution.

*Use of a range of infrastructure platforms and wide range of application architectures

*Delivery of digital and technology strategies, associated principles patterns and standards.

*Digital, web & service based architecture - SOA / MVP / MVC, Cloud models (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS)

*Strong interpersonal skills as communication with potential suppliers and other teams will be necessary.
