My Edinburgh based client are looking for a talented Junior Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.My client are a global force in the Semiconductor industry, with offices and clients in Europe, Asia and North America. You will be based at their main R&D site in Edinburgh where you will work on industry leading software applications.What is the role?As a junior software developer in a small team you will gain invaluable exposure to a variety of clients and software projects from your very first day in the company! Through coaching and development you will very quickly be given the autonomy and responsibility for your own elements of the software development lifecycle.Key responsibilities: Development and ongoing maintenance of existing software products.Programming hardware interfacing modules.Customer issues handling.Product enhancement.Bug fixing.Adding new features.Hardware and software integration.IT support and trouble shooting.
