The Job 

Applications Engineer, within the Imaging Application Development & Support team, requires the candidate to have a strong background in the validation of semiconductor products, including analysis and solving customer problems. You will be involved in the system level verification and support of Imaging systems from promotion through to customer platform integration and acceptance into mass production. You will work with various teams to provide the best possible solutions from our imaging devices. The candidate must be team focused. Collaboration with colleagues locally and in the wider design/engineering community across the Imaging Division is a key factor for success. Strong communication skills are mandatory.

 

Skills needed 

Photonic product development and support

SW & API debug, development and usage, FAE and customer training

Customer Support of Electronic Systems

Ideally Optic and lighting sciences skills

Use of Lab Test Equipment, Darkroom

Python and/or C++

Writing Technical Documents

Familiar with Schematic Capture

Familiar with PCB design

Practical Photography Skills
