Delivery Manager to enable a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver a new service and to support existing services. They will remove obstacles, or blockers to progress, helping the team to become more self-organising. They are able to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues and customers alike, sharing ideas, skills and experience to ensure the whole team performs to its best. Location: TelfordDuration:6 monthsRate: £500.00-550.00 per day Why join? Essential Skills: Project Management (preferably qualified);Project delivery using Agile project management methods;Balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity;Matrix-management of multi-disciplinary teams;Collaboration tools ideally Confluence and Jira;Service Oriented Architecture;Continuous Integration environments and tooling; andMiddleware / Messaging productsProvides governance for two delivery centres;Manages the common integration platforms that connect internal and external services and customers;Provides a flexible and scalable framework for future service integration;Develops and supports the enterprise middleware platforms; andProvides governance for integration and technical API standards. Responsibilities will include: Managing the delivery of projects using the appropriate Agile project management methodology;Work with Product Managers to define the prioritised roadmap for the delivery and service;Matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary team;Facilitating project meetings and agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives;Tracking progress and providing status reports to projects and stakeholders;Enabling the team to produce estimates of how much effort will be required to produce features that the Product Manager wants; andCollaborating with colleagues to refine the DG's approach to Agile project management and service development
