1st Line Desktop Support Analyst

Due to large scale growth my client are currently recruiting a 1st line support analyst to be based in there West Kent head office .

My customer has grown to become the leading British based designer, manufacturer and worldwide distributor of furniture, home de?cor and accessories.An exciting opportunity had arisen within our growing IT team to utilise IT knowledge and skills to resolve/develop solutions to business challenges, enabling it to become more efficient. This would perfectly suit someone with a few years' experience looking to progress their career and develop within an ever-expanding Company.

The Role Will Involve:

*Providing first line IT support to all areas of the business, reporting directly to the Operations Systems Manager

*Undertaking project work as a result of the expanding portfolio of IT support requirements

You Will:

*Have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a relatable industry

*Display an excellent working knowledge of Windows, Office, PC

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Provide 1st line support within the Service Desk function including: -Provide first class customer service to all stakeholders

-Provide 1st line IT support as required: -Call Ownership - Ticket Creation, Update, Closure

-Troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of IT problems (could include being dispatched to a customer site)

-Monitoring of customer networks/estates via Sciencelogic

-Liaison with internal and external stakeholders

-Liaison with 3rd party suppliers

-Update documentation

-Call escalation
