The role

As our AI Project Manager, you'll be at the centre of projects, working with our internal teams to plan, execute and finalise AI projects to clients of all sizes, on time and within the set budget.

As a key role in the smooth delivery process, you'll be advising on possible issues and impacts, and will need to maintain the balance between controlling the budget and being able to deliver. You may also be required to participate in status calls along with Client Services' input.

Throughout the project lifecycle, you will be required to organise and retain documentation such as project plans, risk logs, change logs and related briefs and specifications. You will be sensitive to the working processes of other departments, and cooperate with them on the allocation of time and resources, following up and driving through tasks as necessary.

For the successful candidate, training will be provided to ensure that they become proficient in AI project management.

Skills

We're looking for someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will also have the following key skills:

A degree in project management, or equivalent experience

Experience or knowledge of PM methodology, such as Waterfall or Agile

Experience as a Junior PM or Senior Projects Coordinator (or equivalent) within a tech industry

The ability to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a clear and timely fashion

A strong ability to know and involve those required at various points in a project's delivery

Experience of drafting and submitting budget proposals, and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary

Experience of proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans

Excellent communication skills
