Software Developer / Java Developer (Java 11 microservices Spring TDD). Would you like to work on complex and interesting backend systems whilst be empowered to make decisions and enjoying a range of perks?

As a Software Developer at this technology driven start-up within the insurance sector you will build out scalable and efficient backend services integrating with a number of APIs to support the company's growth. You'll focus on backend development; the tech stack is based on Java 11, microservices using SpringBoot, Spring Cloud; they're using Event Sourcing and CQRS techniques and moving towards continuous delivery using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.

You'll be learning on the job using the latest technologies as part of a talented, motivated team in modern East London offices with flexible working. You'll be supported to learn new technologies and attend conferences and will get a free Kindle; there's a team breakfast every Thursday and a monthly company wide social.

Requirements:

*Experience with modern Java, i.e. Java 8 onwards

*Familiar with Spring

*Knowledge of DevOps / microservices environments

*Understanding of TDD

*Collaborative team member, keen to learn and share knowledge with others

*Degree educated; Computer Science preferred
