Solution Architect (AI / Robotic)

£425 - £475 per day

A global leading organisation based in London is currently recruiting for a Solution Architect which will play a key role responsible for the definition of application solution architectures to meet the requirements of specific business, infrastructure or functional areas, using appropriate tools and methods. As the solution architect a pivotal area within the role will be identifying and evaluating alternative/emerging technology solutions specifically for Artificial intelligence (AI) / Robotic Process Automation (RPA) products. Once identified you will discuss with business leaders at the ideas stage to show how technology can help them meet their business challenges and strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

*Design solution architecture for business streams aligned with their strategy, in collaboration with Artificial intelligence (AI) / Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology and business colleagues.

*Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and articulate the functional and non-functional requirements of the business stream or function

*Ensure solution architecture is designed to align with the current and target technology estate

*Participate in quality reviews of solution architecture components and ensure compliance to the solution architectural design during the implementation phase

*Contribute to formal reviews and evaluations when project and programmes end. Document and socialise the lessons learned from the architecture development

*Provide architectural guidance to the project implementation team, approving changes to the agreed design in the relevant governance forums

*Review vendor and supplier proposals to ensure that quality inputs are delivered to provide maximum benefit to the organisation

Essential

*Applying automated systems to support specific business functions of processes and operational support systems

*Good understanding and application of standard industry architecture and development approaches, models and frameworks

*Adherence to design principles during development, taking into account all relevant non-functional requirements in order to assure smooth running of the service in live operation

*Product and evaluation selection, analytical comparison of IT products against specified criteria to determine the solution which best meets the business need

*Principles and practice of good sustainable, secure, maintainable and efficient system design

*Good understanding of the principles and application of cloud/virtualisation and the use of tools and systems to manage these

*Good understanding of current industry trends and how these relate to enterprise solutions, including various cloud services

*Analytical; able to acquire a proper understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically

*Collaborative; establishing relationships and contributing to an open, 'can-do' culture

*Strategic; keep organisational objectives and strategies in mind, ensuring actions and roadmaps are aligned with these
