FRONT END DEVELOPER

INITIALLY A 6 MONTH CONTRACT

BASED IN CENTRAL LONDON

£450 - £500 PAY PER DAY

Our client is looking for a Front End Developer to be based in London on an initially a 6 month contract.

Essential Criteria Include:

*Essential knowledge of BDD and/or TDD software development practices and processes.

*HTML 5

*SASS / CSS 3

*JavaScript incl. AJAX

*Experience with Node.js, Express.js and templating (Nunjucks or others) or with Angular.JS

*Gulp build system

*GIT

*Progressive Enhancement

*User-focused mindset

*Agile experience, hands on in a multi discipline team working in rapid iterations

*Use of open-source libraries

*A strong track record in front end web application development

*Experience with Angular.JS, Bootstrap, Initializr, Modernizr

Desirable

*Experience with JQuery, GDS frontend kit, GDS elements

*Test Driven Development experience

*Uses virtualisation for developing, e.g. Docker to run services, Vagrant to build dev VMs

*Familiar with domain driven design principles

*Any SPA experience useful
