Cloud Architect - Salesforce / CPQ - Remote workingWe have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Cloud Architect to join a leading software business who have a period of growth in the pipelines which will increase their UK presence considerably in the coming 2 years. The Cloud Architect will be the architecture and design lead for Cloud solutions, especially Salesforce and CPQ.Role Responsibilities:

•Be the architecture and design lead for Cloud solutions, especially Salesforce and CPQ.•Support pre-sale discussions with designs, high-level solutions and, where necessary, proof-of- concept demonstrations.•Work directly with a selection of customers, face to face and remotely, in order to lead product design discussions and solutions.•Work with other Architects and Developers in the team where necessary to assess and architect the right solution even where the solution may not be your core skill.•Work with the project / development teams to translate architecture and design into tangible deliverables.•Oversee product solutions as they are developed.•Help to resolve issues from an architecture / design perspective.•Mentor the IT team members in Cloud technologies.•Coordinate and deliver training and knowledge transfer.•Continuously develop and grow your skills.•Be a technical ambassador and thought leader in your core skills.

Skills required:

•Experience in a Salesforce technical lead / Architect role including design, development and implementation experience. Must include Sales and Service cloud but experi- ence of the full Salesforce stack would be advantageous incl. Heroku.•Experience in design and hands-on implementation of CPQ solutions preferably with Apptus technology stack such as X-Author and CLM. Apptus ADM201 certification would be advantageous.•Preferably experience in other Salesforce AppExchange applications. ISV experience an ad- vantage; working with security reviews, namespace, packaging, etc.•Development background with strong understanding of Salesforce development practices and strategies including handling high performance and high volume.•Experience of Migration and Integration would be advantageous, especially Mulesoft, Salesforce Lightning Connect, Apptus Migration.•Experience of other Cloud solution (AWS / Azure / etc) would be an advantage.•Ability to translate complex business requirements into best practice solution design•Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work remotely without distraction.•Good experience of Jira & Jira Portfolio together with tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, etc.•Strong Agile knowledge and experience.
