Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Network Engineer, to be based with our globally established client in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market leading organisation who are in the process of completing a number of projects, including modern technology such as Robotic Process Automation, and require a Network Engineer for on going project based support.

The pay rate for this role will be between £350-400 per day. The start date for this role will be as soon as possible.

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer who can offer them support as they work through various projects, which are critical to the business this year. This role will be perfect for an experienced engineer who can provide input into the support, maintenance and BAU state of the network technologies, along with any improvements that could be made. Our client use a number of technologies in their networking stack, so this would suit an experienced engineer with a wide range of skills, who can consult with project managers and transfer knowledge to the rest of the team. The core stack includes Cisco switching and routing, Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls, and the use of F5 loadbalancers in an MPLS network.

Essential Skills:

* Proven history as a Network Engineer

* Experience within a project and BAU environment

* Strong Cisco switching and routing experience (Nexus 7K and 9K)

* Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls

* F5 Load Balancing experience (GTM / LTM)

* Strong knowledge of VPN's and IPSEC
