Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team of 12 in their Bristol office. This includes; 6x IT Service Desk Analyst, 2x IT Infrastructure Engineers and management. This role will be providing IT Services and support for 9 offices across the UK. You will be required to travel to these locations on a regular basis.

Skills / Environment

*Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012R2/2016 including clusteringActive Directory and Group Policy

*SCCM Current branch including software/ operating system deployment including patch management deployment including the use of PowerShell and VBS Scripts

*Citrix XenApp 7.15 including PVS

*VMware vSphere 6.5+ in an enterprise environment

*Backup systems (preferably CommVault)

*SQL Server 2014+

*Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

*Troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs

*Office 365Azure

*Windows 10

*Cisco switches and routers.

*Disaster recovery platforms like VMware Site Recovery Manager

*iSCSI/Fibre channel Storage Area Networks, such as Nimble

*Understanding of VOIP

Role Overview

This position will involve supporting the existing infrastructure including server, storage, network, data and applications as well as project-based work to improve and enhance the infrastructure environment. There will be times when you are required for out of office hours with certain projects.

You will be handling escalated calls from IT Service Desk, administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, administer software application and desktop operating system deployment. You will also be troubleshooting and resolving complex issues which arise.

Salary: 40-50k
