Infrastructure Project Manager

Long Term Contract (12+ Months)

AED40k - AED50k / Month (tax free)

As an established and trusted recruitment partner to this global organisation serving over 60 countries worldwide, we have been asked to assist with the recruitment of an established Senior Project Manager who specialises within Infrastructure Project Management.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience and ideally is a specialist / SME in the delivery of Infrastructure focused projects.

Key Skills / Requirements / Responsibilities

-5+ Years' Experience of Infrastructure Project Delivery Experience

-Strong in Core Project Management (Relationship Management, Risk Management, Managing Large Teams, IT Infrastructure Deployment, Vendor Management, Business Change Management, Process Improvement)

-Experience of implementing physical and virtual servers, clusters, networks, firewalls, security, patching, data centres, virtualization (VMware / Hypervisor), SAN / NAS Enterprise Storage, IP Telephony, Audio and Video Conferencing Facilities, LAN / WAN / WLAN

-Fundamental knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and / or other ITSM (IT Service Management) Methodologies

-Experience implementing network security controls including Routers, Firewalls, Data Leakage Prevention, Proxies, Load Balancers, VPN Devices etc.

-Experience implementing SQL and NoSQL database servers / clusters (Oracle / Couchbase / Cassandra)

-Deep understanding of Cloud Architectures and Servers on the Platform (PaaS) and Infrastructure (IaaS) level SaaS experience or experience on-premise ERP Systems a plus

-Experience leading legacy systems reengineering to cloud technologies a strong advantage

-Strong understanding of waterfall and agile delivery methodologies

-A background in Aviation / Financial Services / Oil and Gas preferred

-Project Management Certified (PRINCE2 / PMP or similar)
