£18,000 to £21,000 + Training + Progression + Healthcare + Pension + HolidayExcellent opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate from a chemical engineering, food science or food technology background to join an industry leading company that is offering a role with plenty of on the job training, progression and the chance to work alongside some of the biggest food companies in the world.This company specialises in the food & drinks industry providing scientific, technical and advisory support to many of the biggest blue chip manufacturers and researchers in the country. Due to continued growth they are now in a position to add a keen graduate to their Production & Processing Research team.In this role you will assist with the delivery of scientific and technical projects as needed across the activities of the department but with an anticipated emphasis on those relating to new processing technologies, giving high quality and cost-effective solutions to clients.The ideal candidate will hold a degree in food technology, chemical engineering or a similar field. Any knowledge of food manufacturing or of new food processing technologies is desirable but not essential.This is a fantastic to join a company offering you the chance to work with some of the biggest food manufacturers in the world, in a role offering plenty of training and long term progression.The Role:

*Practical work on research and contract projects relating to activities across the department but with an anticipated focus on new processing technologies

*Practical support on other seasonal activities

*Part of a busy Production & Processing Research department

*Reporting to the New Technology Research ManagerThe Person:

*Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or similar / related field

*Basic knowledge of food manufacturing or new food processing technologies beneficial

*Full UK driving license
