We are currently recruiting for an AWS Solution Architect (Amazon Web Services)

The role would suit someone that's worked closer to the application layer than the infrastructure layer - i.e. that has built or migrated applications to the Cloud.

You will be an all rounder Architect with commercial experience and will be part of a team responsible for building out the company's global Cloud capacity.

Any experience with other cloud providers such as Azure, HPE or Bluemix is desirable.

Experience within a Java Background would be advantageous.

As a Cloud Solution Architect you will be responsible for:

Design and implementation of migrations of applications to the cloud including hands on architecture

Solution design and application architecture

Being the cloud go to expert within the business

Meeting with clients to shape their cloud solutions

The Requirements

As a Cloud Solution Architect you will have the following experience:

Application or data architecture background

Previous design/build experience within cloud based, enterprise applications

Previous experience of building or migrating applications to the Cloud along with a good understanding of infrastructure

Worked on delivering projects of Global Scale.

A degree in engineering or computing

Any accreditations in AWS or Azure are advantageous

Any exposure to the financial services industry is desirable
