Rapidly growing Semiconductor Company based in Newport requires a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join a small multi-disciplinary team, on a range of R&D projects (Power Electronics, RF and microwave and Photonics). The successful Embedded Software engineer will be responsible for design and implementation of software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to working prototype and low volume production.

Suitable applicants will need to have a relevant degree and solid embedded design, development, coding and de-bugging expertise. It would be desirable to have knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

o Ultra low power microcontrollers o Serial communication interfaces o FPGA design and development o PWM Control o Resonant SMPS control o Three phase motor control o Optical communication hardware interfacing o A/D and D/A interfacing
