Our model candidate is someone who can be fully flexible, able to work on client site up to five days per week if required. Depending on the state of the project some flexibility will be granted, working from home will be an option. On average a trip to the local office will be scheduled once a month and all travel expenses are covered.As a Analytics Consultant you will report to the Analytics Director, however on a daily basis you will be managed by the Lead Public Sector Analytics Consultant for each project.You must already have strong analytical skills, in order to design and deliver data solutions on behalf of our clients, with the desire to improve services and outcomes as defined by each organisation's Strategic and Operational goals.As a analytic consultant you must be well organised and able to pay attention to detail, picking up on errors and quarrying anything you may feel doubt about. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be representing our company on client site and giving information to none technical personnel. The aim is to identify and target client needs from a broad range of data sources.You must be confident when it comes to handling large data sets, analysing for insights and be able to translate the findings into data models and visualisations using Microsoft Power BI.The role of an Analytics Consultant with our company requires a hardworking and devoted individual who seeks to persistently develop and advance their skills.Experience/skills preferredMicrosoft Power BIExtracting/querying data from Data Warehouses/Data MartsSQL and PSQLPythonStatistical techniquesPredictive analytics (techniques and solutions such as Azure Machine Learning)Experience working within the public sectorAdvanced analytical skills in more than one data modelling tools, with initial working knowledge of Microsoft Power BIThe ability to build effective data models and data visualisations for use of business, for instance strategic leaders, operational managers and customers If this role appeals to you or you want to find out more please contact me on 0191 814 7804 or email your CV to [email protected]
