Systems Administrator (Linux Windows Bash Python RedHat CentOS VMware). Would you like to join a market leading financial investment platform provider where you'll help maintain the operations of their server systems, networking infrastructure and communications?

As a Systems Administrator you will design, install, upgrade and maintain Linux server systems, network and desktop infrastructures. You will ensure the availability of all relevant systems through the implementation and management of maintenance, monitoring and change control strategies. Other responsibilities will include; specification and ordering of equipment, software and services, managing user accounts and access levels, ensuring security on all systems and providing training and coaching to other administrators.

Based in London, you will be join a friendly, collaborative and supportive company.

Requirements:

*Commercial experience within a System Administrator role

*Strong Linux experience (ideally RedHat / CentOS) and experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments

*Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, Perl)

*Experience with VMware

*Ideally you've had exposure to Open Source technologies (such as Thunderbird for email)

*Network administration experience (TCP/IP, DHCP, wireless, DNS)

*Knowledge of data backup technologies

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills

*Desirable: Puppet, Chef, server virtualisation, SDN technologies
