IT Support Analyst - Central London - £23,000 to £25,000

An excellent opportunity has come up with one of the world's largest independent commercial management companies. The Group has global coverage, with offices strategically located in London, Cape Town, Congo, Japan, Singapore, Houston, New York, Orlando, Athens, Dubai, Oslo, Mumbai, Hamburg and Shanghai.

The Group has consistently grown since its inception in 2007 and now has around 350 employees worldwide, with around 90 based in the London office and they are looking to continue that growth.

This is an IT Support Analyst role where you will be the first point of contact for supporting End Users in the London Office, as well as in our European Offices - Oslo, Hamburg and Athens, with shared support of Dubai with the Singapore IT Team.

You will work closely with the Systems Administrator (based in London office) and the IT team in the US and Singapore offices, hence it is important that you have good interpersonal skills to maintain a good relationship with the rest of the team around the world.

Much of the role will be hands on supporting End Users in London, as well as using remote access to maintain users in other offices around Europe. There will be times you may need to be available for emergency IT support after office hours and weekends when necessary.

Job responsibilities:Provide End user support for all business systems and applications deployedTake ownership and responsibility for assigned Incidents, Requests or Tasks, escalating tickets to the Network/Systems Administrators where applicable, and follow them through to resolutionResponsible for setting up desktops, notebooks and printers for local and regional end users. This includes installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of PCs and related systemsYou will also be responsible for installing software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops and personal devices.Requirements and AttributesExcellent understanding of computer hardware and Operating SystemsExcellent problem solving/troubleshooting skillsExcellent understanding of Active Directory including Domain, Group, User structure and rightsExcellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite including Office 365Adherence to prescribed helpdesk proceduresExposure to modern Windows Operating systems (Windows 7 / Windows 10 / Windows 2012)Eager to learn new skills and expand their existing skillset in IT support and maintenanceStrong organisational and communication skills and be able to prioritise tasks to ensure they are managed efficiently and effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills - this is a client facing role where you will be working in the same office as those you are supporting, so it is important that a good relationship and reputation is maintained between the IT Team and its clientsAbility to work independently and as a strong team playerBe service orientedIf this sounds of interest to you, please submit your CV and contact me, Tom Dennett at Evolution.
