DevOps Engineer/Consultant - Brentwood, Essex - 6 months Description:The client are a .NET house with 100% in house written software, in the process of migration from on premise to AWS with a goal to re-architecting in to a Server-less Lambda platform.This will require the contractor to help with the continued development of appropriate DevOps strategy, processes, and tooling decisionsLeading and guiding the organisation towards an engineering productivity mind-setSupporting the requirements of the development teams for the growth of the application platformBuilding, supporting and continuously improving the various infrastructure platforms Experience:Experience of leading a team in a DevOps environment.In depth knowledge on the AWS PlatformSpecific experience with tools such as; CloudFormation, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy or similar toolsStrong scripting experience with either Python or C#A wealth of experience in a variety of open source technologies and tools e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Git, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes etc.Strong communication skillsA passion for infrastructure as code and delivery excellence
