Embedded Developer (C Linux Kernel Python Ethernet TCP/IP). Looking for a challenging Embedded Developer role where you'll be able to utilise your Linux systems knowledge whilst learning new skills within a fantastic work environment? You could be working collaboratively with a social and friendly team whilst enjoying a number of company perks including table tennis and in-house Pilates classes.

Global leader in networking solutions is seeking an experienced Embedded Developer to be responsible for designing and implementing Linux network device drivers for a range of clients. You'll work to submit the driver changes to the upstream Linux kernel and will work with Tier 1 Linux distributors to include the latest changes.

Based a 10 minute walk away from central Cambridge, with free on-site parking, you will be joining a relaxed and friendly company who offer a number of company perks including regular sports and social events, daily fruit and cake and discounted gym membership.

Requirements:

*Extensive commercial experience developing in C and likely to have Python development experience

*Expert level knowledge of Linux systems and ideally some experience of Networking, Ethernet or TCP/IP

*Proven experience of writing and maintaining high performance network drivers for the Linux Kernel

*Previous experience in debugging functional and performance issues

*Excellent record of academic achievement, having achieved a minimum 2:1 or above in Maths, Physics or Computer Science and ideally have gone on to study at MSc or PhD level

*Excellent communication skills
