Solution Architect

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Solution Architect for an initial 3 month contract based in Glasgow on a rate of c.£500-550/day (outside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Direct the architecture, design, and implementation of robust, scalable, open and secure digital/web-based ecosystem components, platforms and products ensuring delivery to the highest standard.

* Identify and shape integration with key cross-product systems such as identity assurance and operational monitoring.

* Perform quality assurance of technical solutions in the ecosystem.

* Remain up to date (horizon scanning) with best practice, new developments and trends digital, ICT and architecture industry / communities and reflect this into the ecosystem.

* Manage, and collaborate with, external suppliers to ensure that their system architectures meet our requirements, including: overall system design, user experience, and integration points/APIs.

* Promote the highest professional standards to lead and educate, innovate and deliver intelligently.

Requirements:

* Experienced Solution Architect with ability to translate requirements into technical designs.

* Experience architecting large scale ICT/Digital projects.

* Experience with Systems Integration and the architectural patterns and tool used to achieve this.

* Experience of working in an Agile project delivery environment.

* Knowledge of the AWS Cloud Hosting platform would be advantageous.
