IT Support Analyst - Windows, Active Directory, Exchange
IT Support Analyst required to work on a technical support desk and resolve IT queries and issues, including the management of related ticketing systems, and continuously review ways to improve the service offered to end users.
Key responsibilities:
*To be the first line of support for all internal IT tickets, adhering to relevant SLAs and escalating tickets where the query cannot be resolved independently
*To ensure the phone system is fully functional and required features are present and usable
*Assisting with any fixes and working with engineers where needed
*To carry out new PC setups and installs in line with company documentation, install client software as requested, desk moves and assisting the Infrastructure team with new server installs.
*Carry out server administration including setting up of new users, email accounts, groups etc..
*Purchasing IT equipment as requested.
*Assisting the IT Infrastructure team in providing support with the company's virtualised solution utilising VMWare, SANs and NAS boxes.
Key Skills and Qualities required:
*Experience managing a support ticketing system
*Experience working with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
*Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, etc…
*Skilled with backup plans and technologies
*Exposure to Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Online
*Exposure to virtualisation technologies e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V etc…
