We have an exciting new opportunity for a Project Manager reporting to Head of B.I. You will be in charge of working with the organisation to produce dashboard and internal reporting.My client is looking to start a new data center of excellence inside its main office organisation to help to maximise usage of data and lead a change in the use of data across its companies.The company processes and collects large amounts of data as it stands, however it's not able to be utilised for planning and analysis of business changes and external events. The purpose of this function will be aid analysis of the data which is available around the company.This role will primarily be constructing the technology to allow the company to analyse its data, but also to provide thought leadership on how data can be used to make decisions by working with different stakeholders to understand the businessesThe successful applicant will have the following:A computer science or related degreeA good level of mathematics to aid support of data analysisStrong experience of using PowerBI or similar technology to create dashboards for businessesExperience of SQL for creation of reporting using SSRS or similar reporting tools.Have worked in a data team or as been part of a team creating Kimball data warehouses - Working in a development environment with experience of code and data managementDesirable:Experience of Apache Spark for big data analyticsExperience of data models for multiple company divisions, or franchises.In return the client we will offer a competitive salary.
