Are you an experienced Manufacturing Manager with experience of providing leadership on operations, quality, lean, safety and continuous improvement? If so this is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in a thriving market, and lead in developing world class standards for this site. The position is with a global manufacturing leader in the materials engineering sector, and this site has grown rapidly due to investment and increased demand for its products. This a very challenging senior level position where you can make a significant impact on improving the sites performance. There are no direct line reports but you will lead cross functional teams. The role: Provide Site Leadership with respect to Operational Excellence, Safety, Quality Lean Manufacturing & continuous improvementManage and develop the site Project PortfolioRespond to quality problems and lead analysis of issues as well as problem solving initiatives to identify and correct root causesThe role will involve a significant amount of training and capability building To apply you should have:Excellent academic and working experience of manufacturing operations including standardisation, built-in-quality, problem solving, flow, TPM, planning & control techniques,Experience of delivering change around LeanA Six Sigma Black Belt or similar qualificationSignificant experience in people management including change management.
