UX/UI Web Designer

37.5 hours per week

Salary- £35,000 to £42,000 depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UK's largest insolvency organisation, they are looking for a UI/UX Web Designer who will deliver easy-to-use, user-centred websites and applications for their customers. Ultimately, they are searching for a designer who can work as part of a team, be proactive and ensure business deadlines are met.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software, prototyping and wireframe tools. You should have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with responsive websites and/or web applications.

Duties and Responsibilities;

- Lead the planning and design of web and mobile UX/UI projects

- Lead the design thinking approach to client projects including:

a) Customer contact Strategies that cater for the different stages of dealing with debt

b) Customer facing websites and Apps

c) Conversion rate optimisation based on the behaviour of customers on sites/apps

- Research - understand and develop the business and user requirements, specify audience analysis and user stories, conduct competitor and peer research and present recommendations

- Define - define the solution requirements including audience requirements and user stories, creative and functional specifications

- Ideate - develop design solution to meet the creative, content and functional requirements for business and users through IA, wireframes, design style, look and feel

- Prototype - produce designs in static and prototype form

- Test - conduct stakeholder and user testing through to refinement, acceptance, then implementation

- Manage design projects, working with internal teams through the planning, design, and development phases, to budget and within deadlines

Skills and Experience Required;

- Design qualification and an extensive design portfolio (multi-client/multi-sector)

- Extensive experience in both conceptual and technical design

- Design prototyping skills

- Confident and articulate at expressing design opinions and ideas

- Experience of project and resource management

- Collaborative approach, enjoys working across disciplines

- Knowledge and understanding of digital sector and trends in mobile and peripherals
