We have an exciting opportunity for a Third Line DBA Oracle to join a leading IT infrastructure organisation based in Hatfield.

Salary : Up to 50K (Dependent on Experience)

The idea candidate will have experience in providing specialised DBA support across Oracle Server based platforms. They should possess excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrate the ability to make key technical decisions on their own accord. Excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone, whilst having the ability to assess and prioritise tasks without close supervision is essential.

Responsibilities:

*To Design, Develop and Deploy Oracle technologies on Windows, Unix, Linux and Virtual Platforms

*To offer solutions and workarounds during incidents

*To work to SLAs and deadlines

*To establish a good working relationship with wider teams and customers alike

*To update technology as it advances

*To work with customers and understand their requirements

*Providing On-Call Out of Hours Support

*Document writing / process creation

Key Requirements

*Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c RDBMS

*Oracle Automatic Storage Management

*Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

*RMAN

*Oracle 12c RAC (Multi-platform)

*Oracle Clusterware / Oracle Restart

*E-Business Suite Specialists in Installations, Upgrades, Migrations, Supporting and Patching.

*Oracle Discoverer 11g

*Business Intelligence
