Technical Support Engineer - 1st / 2nd line Technical Support An excellent role has become available at a rapidly growing cloud based IT services company for a 1st / 2nd line technical support engineer, with a focus on Windows Servers, VMware and Cloud Technologies (experience with cloud/virtualisation not essential!) You will be working on the latest technology in an innovative environment. The company has seen significant growth year on year and are looking for a 1st / 2nd line technical support engineer to work with a range of customers on hosted desktop and cloud solutions. The complexity of the role will vary depending on current experience, but will be support focussed dealing with complex issues with the opportunity to also get involved in project implementation / installation. RequirementsThe ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for technology and be keen to learn. You would ideally have experience / knowledge of (not all essential):Windows ServerVMWareActive Directory NetappAWS / AzureStorage / Backup DevicesFirewallsNetworking / Routing / SwitchingGeneral troubleshootingA 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful 1st / 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities.
