A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified actuary to join a high profile risk management team. This business is currently breaking new ground, their risk management function is at the core of this project. This role will oversee internal model validation, risk management and risk report production for the board. The successful applicant will have exposure to many areas of the business, but will fundamentally have ownership over the quantitative risk reports. The team are looking to recruit an individual who is capable of managing junior actuaries in the absence of the senior risk manager (and overall be involved with learning & development). With this being said, I am keen to speak to personable individuals with strong motivations for moving into insurance risk.

Requirements:

- UK Qualified actuary

- Solvency II understanding crucial

- This client is open to applicants with no risk experience, although this experience is preferred

- At least 2 years post qualified experience
