UK Infrastructure Manager - Godalming - £65,000 to £75,000Regulatory compliance has been a huge part of the FinTech sector for a long time now and with that, RegTech has rapidly risen to prominence and has been heralded as "the new Fintech" by Deloitte.
An excellent opportunity has come up with one of the leaders in the RegTech field to be their next UK Infrastructure Manager.
They were one of the first RegTech companies to recognise just how extensive regulatory requirements would become. With Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Natural language Processing as their route forward, pioneering the development of machine automated compliance.
Growing rapidly with offices in the UK, USA and Australia serving customers across top tier global banks, insurers and asset managers in over 150 countries this is an excellent time to get involved.
We are looking for a hands-on individual to manage the 1-3rd tier technical support team in the UK and develop the processes and practices with their counterpart in Melbourne, Australia. You will come from an infrastructure background and will be a manager of technical resources or a team lead looking for your next step.
Responsibilities:Providing operational infrastructure expertise, management and assistance to engineers and technical support teamsDevelop service and operational competence and standards around our private cloud services and our BAU systemsManagement and development of day-to-day 1st-3rd line support capabilityManage IT datacenter, hardware, software and services suppliersService owner for infrastructure and responsible for change and release managementEnsure delivery of 99.999% uptime environment in line with tight SLA'sKey member of the InfoSec group ensuring security, compliance, redundancy and resilience is incorporated in to all projects and changesIdentify and manage infrastructure projects and changes to minimize risk and provide an optimized, resilient and secure network environmentManaging the deployment of new environments, equipment and services for the on-boarding of customers.Researching, designing and applying best practices, technologies and approaches to manage capacity, growth, automation, security and complianceWorking with other technical teams such as Data Intelligence and Engineering to identify changing infrastructure and support requirementsManaging the standards technical documentation for configuration management and knowledge sharingSkills:Strong team management skills to include mentoring, objective setting and skills development to support the growing businessQualifications or certifications in relevant infrastructure/management area'sWorking knowledge of ITIL and ISO aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Security)Strong technical knowledge of networking, infrastructure and virtualization technologies in our stack (VMware/Windows Server/SAN's/SQL/VEEAM)Working knowledge of DevOps principles and technologies for configuration management and release automationFirm understanding of the design and implementation of Network Security Standards and controlsDemonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP network configuration, best practices and security - routing, firewalls, VLANs, VDOMSSupport, management and configuration of Windows and Linux Server's in various roles and functions (IIS, AD, DNS, FSRM, SQL)If this sounds like a role you would be perfect for, please submit your CV and get in touch with me, Tom Dennett at Evolution.
