A UK wide business with its Head Office in Liverpool city centre are recruiting for a Devops Engineer to join the team.
Working with technologies such as:
Linux (various distros)
Apache/Tomcat
Ansible/Chef/Puppet
Kafka/Rabbitmq
CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GIT
Bash/Python
Elasticsearch
MongoDB/MYSQL/MSSQL
The responsibilities include:Establish, design, perform and execute technical projectsAssist the MaaS platform team supporting the seamless deployment of codeConfigure and manage data sources like MySQL, MongoLead technical open source work streams within projectsBecome the SME of open source productsUnderstanding, capturing and translating business requirementsPerform schedules and supervise open source and database design workSupport of major incident / problem management reviewsManaging multiple technical work streamsDeveloping continual service improvement plansPrepare and present technology proposals to the Architectural Review Board
