Project Manager / Data Engineer (SQL Relational Database Analytics). Are you a bright and highly motivated individual with previous experience as a Data Engineer looking to move into a Project Manager role? You could be gaining exposure to the derivatives and financial industry within a small but rapidly expanding start-up that use award winning and cutting edge technologies.

You'll be joining the company as a Data Engineer with a view of moving into a Project Manager position as the team grows. You will be taking on a range of responsibilities including; setting up data scenarios for client proof of concepts, analysing and assisting with the resolution of data issues, working with client teams on data discovery to define and document requirements around rules and system workflows and project managing client deployment or proof of concept projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer to move into an interesting and data focused Project Manager role where you'll be able to take on rea responsibility and have an impact.

Requirements:

*Previous experience within a Data Engineer role

*Ability to interrogate and manipulate a relational database using SQL

*Happy moving into a Project Manager role and growing a team around you

*Strong analytical and problem solving skills

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills

*Ideally degree educated in Computer Science or similar (2:1 or above)
