The IS Specialist will be responsible for providing both application development and support for e-learning applications and the Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard) provided by the University to support student learning activities. They will provide services and expertise relating to the development of software applications used by the University, this includes but is not limited to the University's VLE (Blackboard), Student Records System, Timetable and Exam Scheduling systems.

The role will involve liaison with a number of different stakeholders groups within the University together with other CIS staff in the IS Group and also with other IT staff across the department and the wider University.
