A software and cloud services consultancy with a different approach; this company offers businesses and organisations innovative digital solutions that can be launched quickly and easily.

There are two arms to the business. One solves solutions from scratch - not using a template approach, but instead working on lots of Greenfield projects using an 'out of the box' attitude to problem solving. The other side of the business offers cloud service solutions to businesses.

Following natural growth they are now looking for a mid-senior level backend developer to join the team.

PHP Developer Duties and Tasks:

*Learn and understand the current systems and code bases within the business from the current team.

*Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure high quality customer delivery.

*Improve and build coding systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the code base.

*Burn down a combination of customer tasks and internal tasks based on priority.

*Ensure the smooth final delivery and go live of their specific projects as required.

*Attend customer meetings/communicate directly with customers when necessary.

PHP Developer Experience Required:

*3+ years of commercial back-end PHP experience

*Comfortable attending customer meetings and communicating with customers directly.

*Experience working with PHP 7 and above in an object oriented environment using SOLID principles.

*Experience with the Symfony PHP framework and/or the Laravel PHP framework

*Experience with MySQL and designing database schemas.

*The ability to help turn business requirements into functional technical requirements.

*Experience in consuming data from third-party APIs.

*Knowledge of RESTful principles.

*Git - GitHub or Bitbucket.
