We're now looking for a driven and motivated Sales Account Manager to help build and maintain our strong customer base at Access, This is a home based role and will cover the West Yorkshire region, mainly the Leeds area

About you:
You're primarily be responsible for building business opportunities and maintaining relationships within our client base (customers), backed up by the various operational teams.
Our customers have a global presence and therefore there will be some requirement to make telephone contact with people in different time zones.

You will be expected to discuss many and varied IT projects and comprehend the effect these projects will have on the customer's business as well as the potential opportunity they provide for Access. These projects are both of a technical as well as an operational nature and may result in a service that may take any length of time from a couple of hours to a project that will take a number of months.

You will maintain regular communication with the customers to determine their needs. It will then be your responsibility to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times. This may entail responding to, and then handling customer's complaints and dissatisfaction from both the
customer's point of view and internally within Access.

Although the hours will be 9.00 am to 5.30pm it is understood as a company dealing with global customers, that demands will be made to work outside these hours when necessary. There will also, occasionally be the need to travel internationally to make sure contact is maintained with key
people in other regions.

This role is one that requires you to exhibit a high level of responsible independence whereby your manager is fully confident to rely on you to perform your duties in the way required while being able to relax in the knowledge that you will always keep him informed of anything that he needs to know.

Day-to-day, you will:
Work with people at all levels within the organisation and colleagues within other internal departments.

Work in/on the following areas.
- Maintain successful long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand, translate and document customer requirements in detail.
- Build and cement relationships both internally and externally that will assist in making the team successful.
- Promote and introduce existing or new products/services into clients.
- Pro-active promoting, demonstrating and selling of upgrades and additional modules and services.

As a well-rounded Sales Account Manager, your Skills and Experiences needs to include:
- Strong account management skills not necessarily demonstrated by large value sales but by the ability to maintain successful long-term relationships with customers
- Strong communication skills and outgoing personality
- Ability to understand, translate and document customer requirements in detail
- Ability to build and cement relationships both internally and externally that will assist them in making the team, and ultimately themselves successful
- Experience in a technology-based solution selling environment, preferably within the software environment
- Ability to promote and introduce existing or new products/services into clients
- Comprehension of the recruitment market place and the role of computer systems in the market place would be a significant advantage
- Some comprehension of hardware, software and networks at a technical level
- Be pro-active in promoting, demonstrating & selling upgrades and additional modules and services.
